The Controversial Mini Richard Onam Picture

Here is the controversial Onam Picture that made people’s blood boil. Loudly complaining because I did not show proper respect by wearing shoes on the Pookalam. I have many people messaging and calling me names saying I should respect the flowers. Where is your respect for human beings? People want us to respect cows, dogs, flowers. Where is this generation going? Stop worrying about what Mini Richard is wearing or how much of my cleavage is on display or whether I am wearing a bikini. Turn your outrage to something that really matters. When you see or hear about atrocities you need to speak out.  I am very disappointed and worried about people that are so opinionated on Social Media, but do not care about what happens in their own towns and sometimes their own homes. Kids being kidnapped and raped. Children being molested. Women being attacked and left for dead in the street. People starving to death.

Children kidnapped and raped every day. >Here is a story of 5 children and what has happened to them and their families. These are tragic stories of small children as young as 5 years of age. Lives destroyed. They will never forget what happened to them and yet the criminals that perpetrated these horrendous acts of injustice walk among you free to rape another child.

A woman walking alone is dragged off and raped, beaten and then left for dead. How do many Indians respond? She should not have been out so late, she should not have been wearing jeans, or her clothes were too tight. Why isn’t the man being prosecuted? He is the one that committed the crime. Why is the woman at fault?

Another woman is beaten and raped in a Muslim family. It was her fault she can never be married, never have a family because she “allowed” herself to be raped. It was her fault.

A child A CHILD!!! Is repeatedly raped by her father and when it becomes public the village elders order HER to be beaten. What kind of people do this?

The pictures that I post are for fun and entertainment. I do not have any particular agenda or intentions. I want people to be happy to live joyous lives. As Indians we can do this. We are strong and need to fight for the lives of others, for the lives of your neighbors, potentially for the lives of YOUR family. Not complain about the trivial actions of someone on Social Media.
